Day is going good.

Today has to be the best day since I started college. I just took my history mid-term and is currently feeling great. I did extemely well. That's how confident I am. I was the second one to finish. P.S. I been finished I just didn't want to get up. So I started going over my test like 3 times. And not only that, thanks to someone I know, he/she pulled some strings about a job. I've applied to a lot of jobs, but they mostly deny because I have no experience. Oh well. Thing to do on the interview, BE BUBBLY. That's not me. But i'll sure try. Please give me a chance.

History midterm

Today is the day. I got up early and started reviewing. I have a lot to cover on this exam. Hope the people around me are satisfied with the grade I'm going to get. I'm guessing nothing less than a 85. Going to go and start getting ready. Hope everyone enjoys there day today.

Question #3: Does it bother you when a guy refer to a female as a bitch? Language defines and organize reality. Song at the moment: Fall Out Boy - I Don't Care.

Midterm

Question #2: What do you think about people calling other people "nigger" in today's society? Are you the type that will get offended, or go on with it?

I'm currently at school studying my ass off. Sociology, Health and O.C.D. midterms are out the way. Only one left, and that is history. In high school I never really liked the subject. But now, it's starting to interest me. History mid-term tomorrow. I know I'm going to do good. Already know what I needed to know. It's just up to me to not panic and flunk it.
For my Sociology test, personally, I did 'ok'. But it's not up to my parents level. They were dissappointed in me. I don't know what happened. I mean I know I know the answers, but it seems as if when I'm taking the test I am not sure. I took O.C. D. today. I'm currently paying for the class, but yet it's not a credit class. So probably that's why I don't like the class. Who the hell gives a mid-term based on what building and room the Math Lab is in. or where is the financial aide office. Or where is the paralegal tutoring lab. Who does that. This is the dumbest thing I've ever been involved with.
To make it worse, the teacher "accidentally' burned or 2 page assignments. WOW!! How careless is that? So I had to search really hard for my USB, because the assignment was on it. I eventually found it, and by the end of the class I got my grade. A 8/10. I believeI could've gotten higher though. So, all that is next for me to do is revise for my mid-term by asking my vegan to quiz me. That's all for now folks. Oh by the way, for my History mid-term, I will be doing 6 essays and 30 multiple choice. Doesn't that sound like fun. I'm going to do good because I have a great teacher and I studied.

P.S. Hard work pays off.

The Assasination of Barak Obama!!

That was what I saw on every single news channel today.

Question of the day: What would America be like if Barak Obama was assinated? Personally I think that the country would have the first RACE war. Black against white. Come on people, it's the 21st century but yet we have to deal with this crap....

2 men arrested in alleged assassination plot aimed at Barack Obama

Reporting from Washington -- Federal authorities in Tennessee announced today that they have arrested two alleged white supremacists in an alleged plot to assassinate Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama by driving their vehicle at top speed and firing high-powered rifles at him from their car windows. The plotters also allegedly discussed shooting 88 African Americans to death and decapitating 14 others in a killing spree across the country -- choosing the numbers 88 and 14 because, officials said, "they have special significance within the White Power movement."Daniel Cowart, 20, of Bells, Tenn., and Paul Schlesselman, 18, of West Helena, Ark., were charged in U.S. District Court in Nashville with illegal possession of a sawed-off shotgun, conspiracy to rob a gun store and making threats against a major presidential candidate.According to Jim Cavanaugh, special agent-in-charge of the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Obama was to be their final target."They said that would be their last, final act," Cavanaugh said. "That they would attempt to kill Sen. Obama. They didn't believe they would be able to do it, but that they would get killed trying."
The Obama campaign declined comment on the alleged plot, as it typically does when safety matters are involved.Brian A. Weaks, an ATF special agent and a lead investigator in the case, said in a court affidavit unsealed today that the two men had told authorities they had hoped to carry out the assassination in a grand style."Both individuals stated that they would dress in all white tuxedos and wear top hats during the assassination attempt," Weaks said. "Both individuals further stated they knew they would and were willing to die during this attempt."In preparation, the two men allegedly shot out the window of a church and then wrote chalk marks -- including swastikas -- on their car. On the hood they scribbled the numbers 88 and 14.The eighth letter of the alphabet is "H," and the number 8 twice signifies "HH." It is shorthand for the Nazi greeting "Heil Hitler." And 14 comes from the number of words in a White Power slogan: "We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children."Serrano is a Times staff writer.richard.serrano@latimes.comTimes staff writer Seema Mehta, traveling with the Obama campaign, contributed to this report.

"Death has no manners"

Death has nomanners. It will enter your home and see you watching t.v. in the living room. Then go to the first bedroom and see your child sleeping, then goes to the second and see your kids playing. Then come back to you and tell you to come with him. And just like that, your gone. Death doesn't care who you are or what you did. If it is your time to go, you'll go. Don't morn for the dead, because they are at a better place than where we are. Rejoice and celebrate the life they lived. Cherish the ones your love. Live everyday as if it's your last. Love your haters. Tell the people you love that you love them. be true to yourself and the people around you.
Gob Bless.

13 days left.

It's been over a week now since I haven't posted anything. right now I'm not feeling well, I have a sore throat, hope it's not a virus, because I had that that last year. Now having a throat virus, is the worst thing ever. You can't eat anything. And if you want to eat solid food, you have to blend it :( ( It's nasty). I'm doing good though. Anywho, 13 more days left for you guys to go out and vote. I don't care who you vote for, (Obama), just go out and vote.
I've been busy with school, and just recently my professor of English told us to read this exerpt from Cultural Etiquette: A Guide for the Well-Intentioned, wriiten by Amoja Three Rivers. Before you read it, (which I promise you, it will be worth your time). Just answer this qustion. What is racism? Here is the link http://communities.ic.org/90/4490.php
Got to go now. Time to study and later on talk to the one I love, Vegan. God bless you.
P.S. GO OUT AND VOTE---->America needs a CHANGE.

Today.

Hello you, just came to tell you what happened during the past couple days. I took a health test yesterday. I know I did great on that. Today I took a mini quiz for History and a Sociology test today. I passed the history quiz, but the Sociology, I found it very difficult. Right after I was done taking the test, I got a headache. Even up until now, I still have it. So many terms, so many definitions. Hope I did good on it.
OmG, I'm currently watching the debete, and it's putting me to sleep. I would really like Obama to win. Why? First of all. When McCain is talking, just listen to him real carefully. He sounds like Bush. And his policies reminds me of Bush. America has been under Republican rule for 8 years. Let me reapeat myself. AMERICA HAS BEEN UNDER REPUBLICAN'S RULE FOR 8 YEARS!! I believe it's time for a change. Look what happened between those 8 years. War, recession, tax hike, and so on. The only reason Bush won his second term was because he had a brother in Florida and they were involved in caging. What is caging exactly?

Vote caging in Florida: 5 counties affected , by
What region is affected? (City, County, State)
Florida: Hillsborough, Collier, Miami-Dade, Escambia and Duval

Older voters, urban voters, likely Democratic voters
How would tactic suppress votes?
From the article (link below) in St. Pete Times: "The first-class GOP mailing has a "Do not forward" instruction on the envelope, meaning they will be returned to the GOP if a recipient has had mail forwarded, perhaps to a summer address, or has moved."Letters returned as undeliverable can be compiled into "challenge lists" of unverifiable addresses and can be used to challenge voters' eligibility during early voting or on Election Day. The vote suppression technique is known as "vote caging."
Who is behind it?
Florida GOP

Hard time sleeping.

Still awake, currently thinking about life and the various challenges in it. Currently watching George lopez. He has to be one of the funniest man alive.
The cast of George Lopez.

:(

Today was an ok day. I'm just taking it easy. Still couldn't get all my work done. But look at the bright side, I got something done. I went out today. My mom woke me up after 7 this morning just to clean my room, wow, mothers. As the day went by, I followed Leonson to a store and bought something for my cousin Brandon. We've been talking a lot now(Brandon and I). I'm just making sure that he's ok. That's my little cousin. Even though he is much bigger than me (I call him my bodyguard), I can still give him a beat down. I slept earlier. Got up couple hours ago. I asked my brother to ask me questions pertaining to my health mid-term I have tomorrow. I got all of it right. I think I'm ready. As a matter of fact, I know I'm ready. It's just up to me to focus on it. Hope I do really good. I'm here downloading music, taking it easy. I don't really feel the vibe for doing anything, not even watching t.v., only sleeping. For me, not watching t.v. is not normal. Yesterday my mom said, "you watch a lot of t.v. for a college student." I was going to reply and say something sarcastic. But she was right. There is more to life than just sitting around watching t.v. I mean I do study, but let's be honest. Studying is boring. If I study too hard I get a migraine. I'm trying here, but I'm not doing my best.

Right now I'm here writing this blog, and downloading the latest music. I am liking that new reggae song that is on John Legend's new album called EVOLVER. I think it's track #14.

It's a really good song. I don't normally listen to John Legend because his songs are normally boring. But I like the direction of his new album, it has life. For the latest songs, just go on this website.---->
So for the next couple of hours, I will be listening to music and studying. My friend Tineisha called me a study bug, (she is so funny). Oh, by the way, check this artist out. His name is Drake, he made that song Replacement Girl featuring Trey Songz. He've been out since last year. I listened to his freestyle over T.I.'s beat Swagger like mine. I think he's gonna blow up. But my only problem is that he's way too cocky for a new artist. Someone needs to humble themselves.
Copy and Paste the following link for a sample of one of his works. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=V2jll3Qqupg&watch_response

Ocober 11, 2008

On this day Oct 11, 2008 around 10 p.m., Uncle Arthur passed. I got the news this morning. I don't understand. I thought everything was going good. When I heard, i started to cry, but then realized that I'm suppose to be celebrating his life. He was a man of God. A preacher that spread the word. We are all going to miss him. I'm not worried about where he's going to go. God Right now I'm here, sitting around my computer, unable to do my work. It's hard for me to focus. I'm just thinking about how life is. One day I person is there, and the next they are gone. Never take your life for granted.

Work

Today is Saturday and I have to go to school to do my Englich Assignment. The pressure is getting heavy. Got to study for a sociology test, and a healt mid-term. And oh yea, withing today and tomorrow I have to do two history test. I can do it, as long as I set my priority right.
Let me tell you what happened yesterday. I went shopping to exchange a pair of sneakers I bought for a pair of boots for the winter (I came to realize that I have a lot of sneakers and don't need any......at the moment). The problem is, I got more than just the pair of boots. I got something for the people I love,(won't tell what it is though). Let's just say, seeing how the economy is on a downfall and won't get back to normal until the end of 2009, I'm planning on wrapping it. That's right, that's their Christmas present. Come to think of it, I wonder how Black Friday (a day where things go on sale and people literally wait outside in the cold until the doors open, then once they are in they hit, punch and bite to get whatever they want). Technically that's not true, that's my own spin on it. They do fight to get what they want though. Anywho, people aren't really spending as much anymore, so I can't wait to see what happens on that day. Talking about the current economy gets me frustrated, so, back to what I bought. Since Leonson and I always fight over lip balm/blistex, I bought a few. I use to buy lip smacker lip balms (because they were so yummy), but I stopped, because for one of their lip balms, it cost like $2. Now I'm going to start buying it again. Why spend that much on a lip balm? Because they are worth it. Here is a picture of the lip balms I bought. Flavors: Watermelon and M&M. One word: Delicious.

Then I bought a studded belt. I absolutely love these. It makes me feel as if I'm bad. *laugh*. Anwho, in the picture you'll seethe belt I bought, it's black and silver, and in the background you'll see my all time favourite, the silver one.

Then I went out in search of a perfume my mom bought for me couple years back. I did not remember the name, so I had to go from store to store describing the bottle. And I finally got it, after being apart for over 2 years.*laugh*. Here it is. And oh yea, it's my favorite perfume. So if you are planning on buying anything for me, I'm very picky and if you get this, you can never go wrong.

People in my life.

Since you are reading about my life, ( I feel so special). Let me introduce you to the most important people in it.

My mom: My best friend. I can talk to her about most things, not everything, (she's not open-minded).

We were talking about Ellen Degeneres the other day marrying that Portia lady(I don't know how to spell her name). When I told her, she kinda had a disgusted look on her face. That's one of many things she doesn't accept. I still love her though.

That's Trish, I've been friends with her since the 9th grade. I met her around the same time I met Will.I.Am. She is the good one(the angel on the right). And Will.I.Am is the bad one,(the angel on the left).

My brother Michael. The girls refer to him as Mikey (lol). He is 21 and is currently doing what he enjoys doing the best. All I have to say about him is that he picks on me a lot.

That's my father, the only thing we have in common is the economy. Anytime we are around the table eatingbreakfast or dinner,. We always get in an argument about the economy. He feels more strongly about it than I am though. He loves a good argument, as long as he comes out on top.

That's Will.I.Am. He's one of my best friends. P.S. If he really had a gun in his hand, he would have pulled the trigger. I knew him since the 9th grade. The first time we met, he wanted to push me infront of a moving truck.lol.

Our current economy.

I graduated from High School couple months ago, and started college a week later. I realize that I have a lot to say, (i take it from my father). And at times, saying it out loud isn't the proper way. So this is where I'll be storing my thoughts. Just to let you know, I have a lot. Even now with the economy going down the drain, as a college student it is affecting my parents. The cost of technology fee ( a price you pay in college for using the computers and any other technology at the college campus) went up, and the tuition is, two words, NOT CHEAP. but the thing I don't understand is that the federal government is giving away peoples' taxes to rich business owners who failed to manage a corporation. It really hurt me to know how the system is. People of their statue are paying less tax. While people in middle and lower class are paying more for their tax. Then the government had the audacity to come on national t.v. and say "it's the peoples' fault that we are in this situation." That's all BS, so what the government is trying to say is that we, the people, are in charge of the banks. This all started because the banks started giving out loans to people who were unable to pay them back. It's their fault, they shouldn't have been giving out loans to any and everyone. Because of what the banks did, this is what it lead to
