Current bicycle

Nature at its best.

Had to take a picture, because that was something I hardly saw. There was no one on the court.

New BMX bike

Couple minutes ago, I was looking at a few BMX bikes that I like. When I get my first paycheck, that's the first thing I'm going to buy. I was looking for a all black and black bicycle, but I came upon this one. It's black and white, and it's small. It's definately my type. It is current selling for $224.99

It's nice right? I know, I have great taste.

Job hunting

The interview I had didn't go so well. They told me that they are looking for people with experience, and that I should come back when I have two years experience. So on Friday, Will.I.Am and I went job hunting. We went in almost every store asking if they are hiring. And we signed up about 8 job applications and handed in our resume. All the managers did were just look at it ( because we were there) and as we left, I turned around and saw them put it with a whole bunch of other applications. So yesterday on Saturday he and I met up at 10 in the morning and started going in stores asking if they were hiring. Most of the stores were closed, so we went to a different borough. In that borough alone we handed in like 5 job applications. And for two out of the five stores, we spoke to a manager directly. They then told us that if they like what they see on our applications/resume, someone will call us for an interview. It's hard looking for a job, especially when the economy is on a downfall. I really hope all that hard work payed off.

Interview

Today I have a job interview. I really hope they don't turn me down because I have no experience. I'm excited, yet scared. Midnight just passed and I'm reading the news about current events. Obama and his family will be moving in the white house in 10 weeks. And up until that time, he is building his cabinate. Thank God, the most controversial predident in today's society is leaving (Bush). I couldn't be happier. I know majority of the white people are pissed that Obama won. The law has been going there way since forever. For ex: Look at what happened when it came to the J'ena 6' case. The sad thing is 5/6 of these boys are underage and they charged them as adults.

The white boys just got off with a warning, while the black boys are facing up to 20 years in prison. Another example would be the beating of Rodney King beating in the early 1990's. After people saw that video, it was a riot, especially in L.A. They four officers that were involved were aquitted on all charges. To learn more, just click on the drawing of Rodney King being beaten to death by the L.A.P.D.

How can another person treat someone like that? I don't care if you're the damn police. Because you have the authority to take someone's life when it comes to protecting yourself. Another example would be Sean Bell. How many shots did the N.Y.P.D. fire? OVER 50 SHOTS

Blood on the car's upholstery.

The right side of Bell's car was riddled with bullet holes. Police forensics investigators came under fire for their handling of evidence during the trial.

An evidence photo shows bullet holes in the head rest and seat of Sean Bell's car.

NYPD Detective Mark Cooper's Glock 19, 9 mm handgun is shown inside an evidence bag during the trial. Cooper was charged with 2 counts of reckless endangerment. He and the other dectectives charged were acquitted April 25.

A photo of the scene of the 50-bullet barrage, outside the Kalua nightclub in Queens, in Nov. 2006, shortly after the shooting.

The jacket Sean Bell was wearing when he was gunned down outside a Queens nightclub on his wedding day. The red marks show where police bullets pierced the fabric.
All this took place on November 2006. And also, let me remind you that it was on his wedding day. I was taking a course in law, and my professor happened to be a police officer. Even she was pissed. She then started telling us stories about how the police department treat most minorities "different." And that as an African American, you have to work twice, as hard. They just opened shots. I bet that if it was a white man they would've think twice. This kind of brutality among african american (men) needs to be stopped. I was so touched when I saw Jesse Jackson crying after hearing who won the presidency. Knowing that he use to march with Martin Luther King Junior, he never thought that he would live to see a black american president. America has come a long way. I never experienced racism until I came to America at the age of 13. Because where I am from, there were Blacks, chinese, whites, Indians and so on. We all treated each other the same. Even though I still believe America is till a racist country, they were willing to put aside that matter and chose someone that was willing to let the country go further.

The next president of the United States of America!!!!

America's next president of the United Sates is Barack Obama. This man made record just by running, and then he won. Baak Obama is the first African American president of the U.S. This is such an emotional situation. OMG!! We made history. I have so much to say, but is currently overwhelmed with joy.
